I love, love, love having 2 1/2 months off to relax, travel, and hang out with my family every year. It's not the best part about teaching, but it definitely helps me recharge for the next school year.
Our garden is in full swing. I'm growing radishes for the second year. And this is the first year of production for my strawberry patch. Everbearing strawberries are generally hideous looking, but quite delicious.

Book: ATK Quick Family Cookbook
Notes: This was easy to make. I added extra cayenne and added paprika to the dough. They turned out beautifully, but no one in the family was a big fan.
It turns out, not even ATK can save the dreaded "Kids Menu"
